Big Leaf Maple Honey

Our Big Leaf Maple honey has a rich and earthy flavor with a hint of licorice and a distinct root beer note on the finish.  Produced on Bear Mountain in Creswell Oregon from the abundant flow of nectar produced from the magnificent forest of Big Leaf Maple trees. 

Big Leaf Maple is the first honey crop of the season in Oregon.  The huge trees bloom while still in the depths of the rainy season, so Big Leaf Maple honey is collected in about one year out of eight.   A rare and unique variety!
